TuffLock® Bullet vs Short Antenna

Both are made from 6061 solid billet aluminum. The bullet antenna has the same dimensions as a real 50 cal bullet and a hard anodized black finish, for a bold look. The 4" short antenna gives a clean, modern profile.

Why Ronin Factory

Both antennas are carwash safe and don't affect XM, Bluetooth or satellite radio. Installation takes a minute or two and isn't permanent, so you can go back to stock anytime.

FAQs

Is installation permanent? No. The antenna can be removed in the future if needed.

What color is it? The bullet antenna comes in black only.

Does it replace my hood antenna? Yes. It replaces the long whip antenna mounted on the hood.

ANTI-THEFT - The original TuffLock antenna design. This item used to be branded as our TuffLock antenna as we had previously used thread-lock on the antenna threads to help prevent theft. Since we now have our new premium line of Ronin SmartLock antenna it is redundant to have 2 versions of anti-theft antennas. We are phasing out of the threadlock on the antenna threads which will make it easier to remove in the future. Phase out will happen between 2025-2026 so your antenna may still come with threadlock. If you don't want the threadlock, you can always wipe it off. You'll now be able to easily remove the antenna without issues if you would like. We recommend the premium Ronin SmartLock antenna if you are worried about theft and wish to have the other additional features that the Ronin SmartLock antenna provides.

ANTENNA THREAD - The antenna comes with male threaded end (M5x0.8) to fit Toyota trucks.

-None of our antennas are compatible with powered antennas that raise and lower. These are only meant to replace fixed antennas on modern vehicles.
